About Maggie Beer's Farm Shop

Maggie Beer's Farm Shop is one of the Barossa Valley's best-loved destinations, the home paddock of cook and food icon Maggie Beer and her husband Colin, who have been on the land here for more than 40 years. The farm shop gathers the full Maggie Beer produce range together with seasonal boxes, cheese and dukkah platters, Orchard spirits and liqueurs, cookbooks and kitchenware.

It is as much an experience as a shop. The Eatery, run by daughter Elli, serves lunch overlooking the dam; Colin's Pheasant Farm wines and ciders are poured for tasting; and there are cooking classes, long lunches, farm walks among the olive grove and native wildlife, and Orchard House accommodation for those who want to stay.

Good to know

The Farm Shop is open daily from 10am to 4pm (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday and New Year's Day). It is a gourmet farm destination rather than a butcher, so think Barossa produce, platters, wine tastings and a long lunch. Bookings are wise for The Eatery and the cooking classes.
