The Red Stag Deer and Emu Farm sits in Victoria's alpine country at Eurobin, with views to Mount Buffalo, and has been welcoming visitors since 1992. It is a working game farm raising deer, emus and other animals on a 70-acre property powered by its own solar system.
The farm sells its own game meat, venison in a range of cuts plus sausages, salami and kabana, emu fillets and halal-certified goat, along with emu oil products and a small range of Red Stag label wines. On site there is a restaurant serving an a la carte game menu, an animal petting farm, mini golf, farm-stay accommodation and a function venue, making it as much a day out as a meat supplier.
The Red Stag is both a game-meat source and an alpine day out. You can buy farm-raised venison, emu and goat to take home, or stay for lunch at the restaurant and visit the animals. Open seven days, 10am to 4pm, with farm-stay accommodation available.
